PACKING AND SHIPPING
Rechargeable Lithium batteries
All Lincad Lithium-ion batteries are tested to ensure that they meet the requirements of UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, subsection 38.3
Lincad Lithium-ion batteries are identified as UN 3480 Class 9 Dangerous Goods and are packed and shipped as Packing Group II (medium danger) in accordance with Packing Specification 965 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Lincad Lithium-ion batteries contained in equipment are identified as UN 3481 Class 9 Dangerous Goods and are packed and shipped as Packing Group II (medium danger) in accordance with Packing Specification 967 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Primary Lithium batteries
All Lincad Lithium Metal batteries are tested to ensure that they meet the requirements of UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, subsection 38.3 including those exempt from the regulations due to low lithium content in the cells or batteries.
Lincad Lithium Metal batteries are identified as UN 3090 Class 9 Dangerous Goods and are packed and shipped as Packing Group II (medium danger) in accordance with Packing Specification 968 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
